REIKI 2

Following accreditation at this level participants will be qualified practitioners, and will require professional indemnity insurance to practice.

Aim:

To introduce participants to professional Reiki practice and to enable them to treat clients in a professional manner in a professional setting.

Objectives:

	At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
	Recall the key teaching from Reiki 1.
	Carry out autonomous and intuitive treatments.
	Use and describe the three symbols required at this level.
	Carry out and practice distant healing.
	Describe the requirements and safeguards for professional practice.
	Describe appropriate uses for Reiki and contraindications.

At the end of the workshop participants will have been attuned to Reiki at level 2, and also had an opportunity to carry out a supervised treatment.

The course is held over two days and lunch is provided. There is also a follow up meeting. This meeting will be held after a mutually agreed time has passed which enables participants to have carried out some treatments. At this meeting participants are required to reflect on treatments carried out and discuss any issues arising. This may be best achieved through the use of a personal journal, which protects the confidentiality of clients.

After the follow up meeting the participant will receive a certificate. The certificate will state that the participant has been attuned to Reiki at level 2 and successfully undertaken training at level 2.
